Carcano rifle 6.5 x 57

The barrel and action was originally a 6.5 Carcano. Someone chambered it to 257 Roberts,  probably in the 60s when these rifles came into the United States. It has since been rechambered to 6.5 car x 57. Allowing it to be loaded with .268 bullets.  This would be the modified Mauser round developed in 1893.

I may have dies and ammo available for it.

The stock is from a Calvary Carcano carbine.
