The Mauser Geha is a post-WWI German shotgun conversion of surplus Gewehr 98 military rifles, produced roughly between 1919 and 1929. They were converted into 12-gauge or 16-gauge hunting guns for the commercial market. Due to thinning the receiver and reducing locking lugs, they are considered unsafe by many to shoot, especially with modern, high-pressure shells.
