The Blue Force Gear Padded 221 Sling in Coyote Brown is a convertible sling that works as a two-point or single-point sling, with a RED Swivel on the front and a padded section for comfort. The 2" tubular webbing has an inline closed-cell foam pad that stays put and doesn't slide up or down the sling. Blue Force Gear says the foam won't separate or absorb water. The sling lets you switch quickly between two-point and single-point carry, which is handy when you're deploying from a vehicle or working in tight spaces. Detach the RED Swivel from the barrel end of the weapon by pulling its knob, then plug it into the Burnsed Socket on the rear of the sling. A Quick Adjuster with a contrasting pull tab changes the length quickly in either mode.

The RED Swivel is machined steel with a phosphate finish for corrosion resistance. It uses a nylon-coated, double-crimped 7-strand stainless steel aircraft cable, a textured pull knob, and stainless steel internals. The sling fits any weapon with two push-button QD sling sockets, with the rear socket toward the end of the receiver, which includes most ARs. For weapons with eyelets at the rear of the receiver, such as SCARs, Sigs, and HKs, you can add a Universal Wire Loop with a push-button socket to the rear of the sling; that's sold separately.

It's sewn in the USA from Invista solution-dyed CORDURA webbing, with ITW GhillieTex acetal hardware, a military-grade, low-IR plastic. Blue Force Gear says the sling is Berry compliant and carries a limited lifetime warranty.
