The Zastava M83 is a double-action/single-action revolver chambered in .357 Magnum with a six-round capacity. It is built on a blued steel frame and fitted with a 4-inch barrel. The revolver features a traditional exposed hammer and side-swing cylinder typical of its design. Manufactured by Zastava in Yugoslavia, the M83 was produced in limited numbers and shares mechanical characteristics with other mid-size service revolvers of its era.

This M83 is used. The finish is blued throughout, complemented by natural wood grips that display engraved detailing. The double-action/single-action trigger system allows both cocked and uncocked firing modes. The overall configuration reflects a straightforward mechanical layout with frame-mounted firing components and external controls consistent with standard revolver operation. Chambering in .357 Magnum allows compatibility with .38 Special cartridges, a common trait among revolvers of this caliber range.

The revolver includes its fitted wooden grips with engraved ornamentation. No additional accessories or packaging are specified. The combination of blued metalwork and carved wood grips gives the piece a distinctive appearance within Zastava’s revolver lineup. All identifying features correspond to the manufacturer’s configuration for the 4-inch-barrel, six-shot M83 model.
