COLT CLASSIC 38 SUPER

Description: 

New Colt 1911 Government Model chambered in .38 Super is a semi-automatic pistol built on a full-size stainless steel frame. It features a 5-inch barrel and a stainless finish throughout the slide and frame, with rosewood grips that have a brown tone. The pistol retains the classic 1911 configuration with single-action operation and standard Government dimensions. The model designation O1911C-SS38Z identifies this variant as part of Colt’s Classic Series, configured for the .38 Super cartridge.

Distinctive pre-war roll marks are engraved on the slide, replicating early Colt production markings. The stainless steel construction provides a uniform appearance across the frame and slide, complemented by the polished wood grip panels. This 1911 is in new condition, showing no use or handling wear. The firearm maintains the traditional 1911 control layout, including thumb and grip safeties, a spur hammer, and fixed sights consistent with the Government pattern.

Included with the pistol are the Colt factory box and original paperwork. The configuration and markings correspond to Colt’s current Classic production in stainless steel with .38 Super chambering.
