Price reduced. This is a lever action rifle with a tubular fed magazine.

The stock is smooth walnut with capped forend, straight grip and a steel cresent buttplate. The stock has several scattered nicks, dings and scuffs as one would expect in a gun of this age, 134 years, that has been in the field.

The front sight is a blade that is dovetailed and set screwed to the barrel.  The rear sight is a "V"-notch.

The octagonal barrel is 24 1/4".

The top of the barrel is marked "Manufactured by the /-Winchester Repeating Arms Co. New Haven, Conn. USA-" In front of the rear sight is a "32 W.C.F" marking for the caliber. The underside of the receiver carries the serial number. The marked serial number is "6464".  This serial number is within the first year of manufacture in 1892. The upper tang is marked "MODEL 1892/ -WINCHESTER-/PAT. OCT 14, 1884.".

The bore in is good condition. The rifing is visble and there is no erosion or pitting in the bore.

There is pitting on the tubular magazine and on some areas of the barrel. Specifically in front of the receiver.

My assessment is that the rifle is in good or better condition for an Antique and shoots well. Additional photos will be made available upon request.

Serious offers will be considered.   FFL fees to be paid by the buyer.
