Savage model 19 .22LR. This one isn't marked with the model 19 designation but I'm certain that is what it is. It is a very low serial number, under 6000.
Redfield Olympic front and rear sights with several inserts for the front which are shown in the picture, also has one in the front globe. One 5 round magazine.
The barrel and receiver are machined from one piece of steel.
Good condition walnut stock with a few nicks and the worse can be seen on the butt stock area in the picture. The bluing is very good condition with wear at the muzzle and a few tiny scratches. The butt plate does have the Savage Indian logo on it but there is some pitting on the butt plate.
The receiver could use one filler screw for where the factory rear sight was mounted but it still operates properly. This gun is cock on closing and the firing pin has dual hammers so it hits the rim on both sides at the same time to help guarantee ignition and fewer misfires that .22 is known to have.
