For sale in our retail store is this NEW Smith and Wesson Model 610 "Mountain Gun" chambered in the powerful 10mm cartridge. This item features a lighter contour and more tapered 4" barrel than those of the standard S&W revolver line. The rationale for this was to shave critical ounces for extended carry for those wanting a high power handgun that was also light for backcountry hunting or camping. The Mountain Gun still maintains the 6-round capacity in the fluted cylinder, full size stainless steel frame, and smooth uncheckered grips to complete the package. Sights are adjustable rear square- notch (windage and elevation) mated to a ramped front blade with brass insert for durability.
