I'm selling this rifle for my Brother that got it from his Father in law passed. He was in the navy in W2 and brought it back and has been in a case in a closet since. Mum ground off and no numbers on any part of the rifle except the left side of receiver. No rust anywhere on the metal and doesn't look like it was used much. Safety is welded on instead of the checkered type. The stock has been stained and varnished or maybe even painted brown. I knew the guy and he probably did it to make it prettier and shinier. Some people do things like that! Everything functions as it should. I'm averaging the price from others I've seen for sale. Open to offers.
