For sale at our retail store is this Smith and Wesson Model 1854 Lever Action Rifle chambered in the iconic .45-70 Government cartridge. This rifle sports synthetic furniture over a 20" threaded Stainless Steel barreled action and receiver. The receiver carries a picatinny rail on top complete with a "ghost ring" style rear sight, and a ramped front sight with a brass bead insert on the blade. The magazine tube on the Model 1854 allows for a 6+1 onboard capacity, and the large-loop lever allows for manipulating the action with or without a gloved hand.
