WALTHER PPK 7.65mm In battlefield condition, this is a remarkable example of the rare and highly sought-after early war production Eagle 359 Waffenamted Walther PPK. Believed to be part of the 1941 Luftwaffe contract, only an estimated 3,500 of these pistols were manufactured with this early Waffenamt marking. Most were issued to pilots, many of which were lost in high-speed impacts, leaving very few surviving in such fine condition today. These Waffenamted Walthers are prized by WWII collectors and are considered a must-have for any serious collection. The Walther PPK’s iconic status, combined with its association with the German Luftwaffe, makes it an almost irresistible wartime artifact. The pistol’s overall condition is consistent with battlefield use, as shown in the images. Most of the bluing has worn away, and there may be possible blood etchings on the right side of the slide. The grips are warped at the tops and show significant damage. Despite this, the mechanical function remains sound: it dry fires correctly, and the decocker operates as intended. No magazine is included.
