The Romanian Cugir Factory Tokarev is a semi-automatic pistol chambered in 7.62×25mm, produced at the Cugir plant during the postwar era. Based on the Soviet TT-33 design, this model retains the classic single-action operation and external hammer configuration associated with the Tokarev lineage. The pistol reflects the manufacturing standards of the Cugir facility, which supplied arms to Eastern Bloc nations for decades. Its steel frame and slide construction follow the original military pattern, with blued finish typical of the period.

Production of these pistols in Romania began in the 1950s, adapting the proven Tokarev design while incorporating a manual safety as required for later import compliance. The mechanical layout includes an eight-round detachable magazine and fixed iron sights. The design’s roots trace to the Browning short recoil system, which influenced the Tokarev’s internal mechanisms. Many examples from this series were arsenal refinished before export, preserving the original markings and mechanical configuration associated with Cugir manufacture.

Included with the pistol is a correct military-style holster with cleaning rod, consistent with Romanian issued patterns. The firearm is classified as a Curio & Relic, reflecting its historical origin and collectible status. One eight-round magazine accompanies the pistol, providing a complete period configuration. No additional accessories or packaging details are specified beyond the holster and magazine.
