Mossberg Model 42B is a bolt-action .22 S, L, LR rimfire rifle produced by O.F. Mossberg & Sons between 1938 and 1941. Designed as an affordable, quality trainer/target rifle, it often featured a 7-shot detachable box magazine and specialized target sights (No. 1A/No. 4). It is part of the early 42 series, popular for marksmanship, with some variations (42MB) used for WWII training. This gun is a great condition and function as it should.
