The barrel shank is stamped “1940 XVIII MANF ITALY BERETTA GARDONE” with correct Italian proof marks, the rear sight is marked “CAL 6.5,” and additional proof marks appear on the bolt handle, all consistent with wartime Beretta production.
The rifle retains its original open rear sight, blade front sight, wood stock and handguard, steel buttplate with storage compartment (missing the trap door), front sling swivel, and rear sling mount, though it is missing the cleaning rod.
