The Super Duty® MOD1-A retains the proven performance and features of the Super Duty® MOD1 platform, while incorporating fully ambidextrous controls. Shooters now benefit from a system optimized for total control in the most dynamic shooting conditions. The MOD1-A utilizes the same intuitive layout used in Geissele’s GFR and MRGG rifles, trusted by elite professionals where efficiency and reliability are non-negotiable.


 


A magazine release on the left side of the receiver below the Maritime Bolt Catch makes mag changes swift for left-handed use. The right side of the receiver features bolt catch and release buttons below the ejection port. The shooter uses the dust cover to apply pressure to the bolt catch to lock the bolt open, and a release button just rearward easily sends the bolt forward. This instinctive system doesn’t just accommodate left- or right-handed use, but enhances mechanical flow under pressure. Reloads and malfunction clearances are faster and more consistent—critical when seconds matter. Whether on the move or on the bench, everything works in concert to meet real-world performance demands.


 


Both the Geissele CHF barrel and Forged Stressproof Bolt® are High-Pressure Tested (HPT) and Magnetic Particle Inspected (MPI), and work in concert to achieve unmatched dependability with match-grade accuracy. The Forged Stressproof Bolt® is made from Carpenter 158+, directly developed with Carpenter Steel metallurgists to create a material that is cleaner and has less impurities. This makes the  Stressproof Bolt® stronger and more fatigue resistant, capable of 5 times the life of a mil-spec bolt.


 


A precisely tuned gas system, Super Compact Gas Block, and Super 42® braided buffer spring work in harmony to reduce felt recoil while maintaining flawless cycling—even in adverse conditions. The SSA-E X® two-stage trigger features a wide Lightning Bow® and Nanoweapon®-coated internals, delivering a crisp, predictable break for enhanced control. The MOD1-A also features a HUXWRX Flash Hider-QD, fully compatible with the HUXWRX FLOW suppressor series for seamless integration.


 


Ergonomics and modularity are central to the MOD1-A’s design. A center-tab mated MK16 rail, B5 SOPMOD stock, and the A17 grip offer refined handling, while integrated stainless steel QD inserts and the Geissele QD Endplate support a variety of sling configurations.
