Raleigh Gun Coach offers private live-fire instruction at a private outdoor range in Youngsville, just north of Wake Forest. Training is tailored to the individual rather than a preset class format, allowing sessions to move at a pace that supports real learning and confidence.

Private instruction is ideal for:

  • New shooters looking for a calm, structured introduction

  • Experienced shooters wanting refinement or feedback

  • Returning shooters rebuilding fundamentals

  • Individuals or small groups who prefer private coaching

Training is adjusted to meet you where you are, whether you are just starting or working on improving consistency and fundamentals.

Training Environment

All sessions are conducted at a private outdoor range featuring:

  • 25-yard zeroing area

  • Steel targets for pistol and rifle

  • The ability to pause firing to discuss techniques and concepts without background noise or time pressure

Because the range is private, instruction can be paced to the student and focused on learning rather than rushing.

Firearms & Equipment

Firearm ownership is not required.

Training firearms, ammunition, and eye/ear protection can be provided as needed. Students who own firearms are welcome to train with their own equipment.
