The Sig Sauer P228 is considered to be one of the first modern "compact" pistols. It is a scaled-down variant of the P226 and was the inspiration for the popular P229.
This pistol is a police trade-in. It is cosmetically worn from years of duty use with significant finish wear and rust showing on the magazine, sights, outside the top of the chamber, and the grip screws. Despite the imperfections, this is still a trustworthy pistol for personal protection or range use. OR as a great candidate for a make-over.
Double-action-only. Made in West Germany. Has one 13-mag, included where legal. I will not discount if I am unable to send this to your state where illegal. NO TRADES.
