The RISE Armament RA-1010 Low-Mass Bolt Carrier Group is a lightweight, full-power BCG designed to help reduce recoil and stay on target. Reduced reciprocating mass during the firing cycle is intended to make the rifle more manageable. The complete BCG weighs 8.9 oz.
This version uses a nickel boron coating to reduce friction, improve wear performance, and make cleaning easier. Each unit is precision manufactured, individually inspected, and individually MPI tested. The bolt is 9310 and MPI tested. The carrier is 8620 tool steel, heat treated and case hardened. The gas key is tool steel with grade 8 hardened fasteners, staked properly. The cam pin is 4140 steel, and the extractor is tool steel and shot peened. Compatible with lighter buffers for faster follow-up shots.
