Steyr Mannlicher Schoenauer Model 1952 - 270 Winchester

I opened up the treasure chest and took this one out.

The bridge says:  Made in Austria, Mannlicher Schoenauer, Model. 1952, Kal. 270

The receiver says:  STEYR-DAIMLER-PUCH AG, Steyr

This is the real deal. Steyr's rotary 5-shot flush magazine, butter knife bolt handle and a double set triggers. Pistol grip walnut stock with hand-cut checkering, straight comb and rollover cheekpiece. 24" barrel with banded 2-leaf rear sight and ramped front sight. The second blade flips up and is marked "300". These Mannlicher Schoenauer "Butter Knives" are some of the smoothest traveling bolts ever made.  Factory mount topped with a Hensoldt Wetzlar Divar 1.5-6X. This combination was "State of the Art" for its time and will still outshoot most if you are up to it.
