This single-action pistol has a barrel made of match-grade stainless steel and a precision-machined carbon steel frame and slide as well as checkered double-diamond walnut wood grips. The 1911 R1 also offers a crisp trigger pull flared and lowered ejection port and dovetailed sights in addition to a spur hammer with walnut grip and thumb safeties.
