This firearm is a Remington model 700 chambered for .308 winchester. The firearm features a 20" heavy profile barrel with 5R rifling and has been threaded to 5/8-24. The action has a U.S. Optics REM 700 SA pic rail attached for mounting scopes along with a stainless bolt and oversized bolt handle. The entire barrel/action has been cerakoted FDE. A McMillan A4 style stock has been affixed to the action and it has been bedded. A small section of McMillan pic rail has been added at the forend for accessory mounting. A timney trigger sits in the rifle as well. The bottom metal accepts AICS pattern magazines and the firearm ships with 1-10rd Accuracy International branded magazine. The cheek pouch is an Eagle Industries branded unit. No box comes with the firearm. The previous owner had this rifle configured as a "M40A3" style rifle that he was issued while serving overseas as a USMC Scout Sniper.
