Deutsche Werke Ortgies semi-automatic pistol, serial number 157368, chambered in .32 ACP (7.65mm), indicated by the barrel size and common chambering for this model. This pistol was produced in Germany by Deutsche Werke from 1921 until about 1924 and is known for its elegant, screw-less design and simple operation. It features a unique grip safety and was very popular in the interwar years, even winning major shooting competitions. The original wooden grips include an inset medallion with a stylized "D" logo made to look like a cat.
