Description
This is an early-production Astra Modelo 1921, better known as the Modelo 400, chambered in 9mm Largo. Manufactured during the reign of King Alfonso XIII and bearing the early “Y in oval” proof mark, this pistol comes from the first year of production with a low serial number (#712). It was produced by Esperanza y Unceta, before Juan Esperanza’s departure from the firm in 1926 — making this a historically desirable transitional example
