This firearm is a Japanese Nambu Type 14 pistol chambered in 8mm Nambu. The firearm is a Toriimatsu manufactured 2nd series (series B) pistol with Nagoya Arsenal oversight and proof markings. The dating on this pistol (19-7) leads to a manufacture date of July 1944 when translated to western style dating. The serial number (SN: 48074) is in the middle of the pack for production ranges for this series of pistol. The firearm is all matching throughout serial number wise, with all small parts being matching and in good condition. The magazine is also serial number matched to the firearm and has good spring tension as well. No other accessories come with the firearm. This firearm is in a great example of these pistols and ready for addition to the collection of any discerning firearm historian, get yours today!
