The 336 configuration pairs a 20-inch round Micro-Groove barrel with a full-length tubular magazine for a 6+1 capacity. The action is side-eject, and feeding is via a right-side loading gate. A spur hammer and a cross-bolt safety with a red fire indicator complete the control layout.

Sights are traditional and practical: a semi-buckhorn rear with elevator and a ramped front sight. The rifle is set up with iron sights. The flat-top receiver is drilled and tapped for scope bases with four holes.

The hardwood stock and barrel-banded forend wear a walnut finish with pressed diamond checkering for a secure hold.
