Since 1950, the J frame line of revolvers has protected Americans on both sides of the law. This very nice 442-1 Air weight features an alloy frame, steel cylinder and barrel, and five shots of hard hitting .38 Special in +P. The hammer is enclosed within the frame, making a fast draw snag free. This little revolver is in beautiful shape with very little wear on it, if at all.


Overall Condition: Outstanding condition, showing only light, superficial signs of prior handling or use.


Bore Condition: Excellent - Clean, mirror finish, no signs of wear.


Bore Rifling: Excellent Rifling - Sharp lands and grooves.


Specific Condition Notes: The revolver is in excellent shape with tiny wear marks from the cylinder stop. The bore is clean and shiny.


The cylinder has a very faint line where the stop contacts it, indicative of very little actual use. This Smith has not been test fired. Our in house gunsmith did a basic function check and light cleaning. No warranties are implied or offered. All used guns sold AS-IS.
