The name Taurus has become synonymous with sturdy, budget revolvers. The model 85 is their answer to the J Frame line of concealable revolvers from S&W. The Taurus Model 85 features a five round cylinder, all steel construction, deep blue finish, rubber wrap around grips, and a lifetime warranty, even if you arent the original owner. This Taurus is in great shape with very little evidence of use. It is both double action and single action.

Overall Condition: Very good condition, showing only light, superficial signs of prior handling or use.

Bore Condition: Excellent - Clean, mirror finish, no signs of wear.

Bore Rifling: Excellent Rifling - Sharp lands and grooves.

Specific Condition Notes: The revolver is in great shape with few tiny superficial scratches along the edges. The bore is clean and shiny.

The blue steel finish looks as good as the day it was made. The model 85 can handle a diet of .38 Special +P rounds, and the rubber grips make recoil a bit more manageable and less punishing to the hand. This Model 85 has not been test fired.
