This firearm is a Marlin model of 1895GS chambered in 45-70 Gov. The firearm features an 18" barrel with a 4+1 capacity. All stainless construction with no visible infractions and solid wood adorns the firearm. The firearm bears a Remington proof mark on the right side of the barrel, but still has a manfuacture location of the original North Haven, CT location Marlin was known for. This points to the firearm being a "transition gun" where the company was owned by Remington but built by Marlin off Marlin parts. The hammer has a Ranger Point Precision hammer spur added for ease of control as well and no box accompanies the firearm. These are much loved for their quality and curb appeal, get yours today!
