Marlin manufactured Glenfield model 60 made in Connecticut USA . Tried and true .22LR many of us started with and still own today. Uses .22 long rifle ammunition, which is easy to find in bulk and cheap to shoot. Simple tube magazine feeding holds about 15 rounds. Fires as fast as you pull the trigger for soup can plinking fun or long range shooting for small game. Marlin sold their company decade or more ago, this model has been out of production for quite some time. This rifle was likely a major competitor of the Ruger 10/22, and since Ruger bought the rights to Marlin, who know if you will ever see another model 60 made. There is a following for these rifles, here your chance to own your own.
Overall condition is good plus as seen in the pictures. Plenty of wear and tear, including scratches, dings, dents, finish loss, normal signs of use. This one has the hard to find SQUIRREL carving or press in the stock design.
