TALO Distributors 50th Anniversary 1911 Mr Armand is a second generation hand engraver. He's a master member of the Firearms Engraver Guild of America and the 2016 winner of the FEGA Best Engraved Handgun. Ray adapted the engraving design from his winning entry to our Colt 1911

The 50th Anniversary Colt is a Royal Blue Full Sized Government, Series 70 in.45 acp

Ray Armand's elaborate variation on black leaf scroll work design is precisely reproduced ina deep etch covering the full slide. The intricate design continues over the top od the slide. 

Scroll elements of the design appear on the polished frame. The controls are polished and royal blue.

The grips are fancy dark walnut continuing the engraving design with a Colt logo. Grip screws are blue hex. Special serial numbers RFC001-RFC300

Series was planned to be 300 pieces but 333 pieces were engraved

This beautiful piece is # RFC218. It has been in our safe since recieved in 2017 and has never been sold at retail. It encludes a two sided foldable descriptive card and 2 magazines.
