The Marlin Model 336 is a lever-action rifle and carbine made by Marlin Firearms. Since its introduction in 1948, it has been offered in a number of different calibers and barrel lengths, but is commonly chambered in .30-30 Winchester or .35 Remington, using a 20- or 24-inch barrel. Currently, several models with a 16-, 19- and 20-inch barrels are available in .30-30 Winchester. This rifle is in pristine condition with a Vintage Weaver Scope & Shoot Through Rings. Condition is 95%+ Bluing is nearly perfect and looks like new and the Wood is Beautiful. The “CS” stands for Cross Bolt Safety and if you are a hater of the Cross Bolt it can easily be removed, and a saddle ring can be added with an additional up charge. Everything on this rifle is ready cycles and functions as it should. The MFG date for the rifle is 1988 as the first numbers are “12”.
