The innovative Thompson/Center® Strike™ .50 Caliber Muzzleloader utilizes incredibly simple and functional Adapt Breech™ system. The external-threaded Adapt Breech system effectively seals off burnt powders from blowing back from inside the barrel, which helps to eliminate seized threads and simplifies cleaning the bore. A threadless primer adapter takes the place of a breech plug to effectively hold a 209 primer in place for a fast, reliable ignition. The T/C Strike is a striker-fired muzzleloader, with no external hammer to cock or de-cock. The Stealth Striker™ ambidextrous cocking system is super quiet and eliminates scope clearance issues encountered with traditional hammer cocking systems. A match-grade trigger and precision 24" barrel with 1:28" rifling twist aids in obtaining superb accuracy. Both the outside and inside of the barrel and other critical components are finished with a Armornite® corrosion protectant coating to extend the life of the rifle.
