I have to part ways with my custom Weatherby Mark V Backcountry TI chambered in .300 wby. I ordered it back in January of 2021 from the Weatherby custom shop. Its range certified and ready to go! Its topped with a Vortex Viper HS LR 6-24x50 moa scope. It's an outstanding backcountry hunting rifle. It weighs under 8lbs fully loaded. I've taken Antelope, Mule deer, and Elk with it at various ranges. It's a very effective setup and caliber for any game in North America. If you're a one gun do it all hunter, this is a great canidate. I can remove the stickers if anyone wants pics with them removed. 

The reason I am trying to sell this rifle is because of the recoil. I'm not a big guy and it's taken me a very long time to realize and accept the fact, that this magnum is a bit hard for me to tame. it's hard for me to accept that fact, but I need to step down a few calibers to improve my game. I can shoot it, I just don't enjoy shooting it.  

I had a great time with this rifle, I made a lot of memories and I am sure I'd make many more if I were to keep it. I have to sell it to fund a new rifle that fits me better. It's not in perfect condition, she has some scratches and dings from busting brush in the woods. That's just part of the backcountry hunting process, but I assure anyone that purchases this rifle that it performs flawlessly! I'm asking $3000obo with scope. I'm willing to sell the rifle without a scope as well. I bought it for $4000 brand new without any optics or rings. I'm losing out on money, but it's a loss I have to take to move forward.
