The Desert Tactical Solutions Enhanced Bolt Carrier Group features a full-auto profile, sand cuts on the forward rails to cut through carbon and dirt, and is designed to reduce carrier tilt and minimize friction in the upper receiver. The carrier is precision-machined from 8620 Steel, heat-treated, ground to precise dimensions, with a larger diameter at the rear to prevent carrier tilt, and has a black Nitride finish. The gas key is made from 4130 steel billet, properly torqued and staked.

The bolt is made from 9310 steel, heat-treated, shot-peened, MPI-tested, and has a black oxide finish. The extractor is made from heat-treated, shot-peened, and phosphate-coated 4140 steel for reliability. The extractor spring has the proper insert and an o-ring for increased power. The firing pin is made from heat-treated 8640 stainless steel, centerless-ground, and chrome-plated.
