"Very Rare" one owner, Chiefs Special "Pre Model 36", "BABY CHIEF" Sometimes called "BABY MOON", 5 Screw Frame, Low 4 Digit Serial #1972, DOM 1951, date of shipment 01/14/1952 per S&W Letter, 2" barrel, half moon front sight, 5 shot cylinder, flat Latch cylinder release, genuine MOP grips and S&W diamond magna checkered walnut grips are included. This revolver was originally blue. The owner had it nickeled and added Genuine Mother of Pearl grips. Original S&W RED box. The pictures will show light handling marks from normal use, and some of the nickel has flaked off in a couple of spots. This is a very collectible hard to find 74 year old Smith & Wesson revolver.   Buyer gets a three day inspection period. Buyer pays return shipping.
