This 50 caliber percussion Smith – Artillery – Carbine is a reputable replication of the original that was manufactured for use during the Civil War. It has a tapered octagon to tapered round blued 1-3/32” to ¾” x 21-5/8” rifled barrel with 1:66 twist fitted with an adjustable ladder rear sight and a brass blade front sight. The bore is bright and shiny with good rifling. The P grade European Walnut butt stock and forend are in good condition with the exception of a chip out of the butt stock at the top of the wrist where it joins the color case hardened action. There is also a small splinter gone on the left side of the forend by the blued barrel band. The action locks up tight and is activated by a single trigger and the percussion musket ignition. Stocked with  blued steel furniture, including sling swivels. Comes with a bag of plastic cartridge cases. Length of pull is 14-1/2”, overall length is 39-1/2” and weight is 7.2 lbs.
