This is an Argentine Mauser calvry carbine model with an approximate 18 1/2" barrel.  It is an original German manufactured model built in Berlin.  It is the usual 7.65x53 caliber and is in very good condition with an excellent bore.  All visible parts have matching serial numbers in the 5xxx range.  The wood is in very good condition with only minor dings and scrapes but no chips or cracks.  There is some pitting on the bolt release lever and the crest on the top of the receiver has been ground off.  Overall this is very nice Argentine mauser.
