40 HK can be converted to 9mm with a barrel swap and a 9mm mag. I have a threaded 9mm HK barrel in my 40,  not for sale. I bought it at a gun shop $35 used. I also run the 40 barrel for carry with Liberty Civil Defence 60 grain, 2000ft per sec. Same recoil as 9mm. Very effective. See gel block video on you tube. It explodes in the gel.
