Selling a Smith & Wesson M&P15X in excellent condition. This is the higher-end M&P model that was offered in S&W’s law-enforcement lineup — built with duty-grade components and a robust quad-rail, not the basic polymer handguard found on Sport/Government consumer models. The M&P15X was included in Smith & Wesson’s LE catalog and marketed to law enforcement customers.

Why this is better than the Sport models:

  • Factory quad-rail / upgraded handguard: The 4-rail drop-in tactical handguard (Troy-style) gives a full-length mounting surface for lights, lasers, grips and backup sights — much more capable out of the box than the Sport’s polymer/slab-sided forends.

  • Duty-grade fit & finish: The 15X was positioned as a step up from the Sport line — heavier-duty rails, quality control aimed at agency buyers, and better included sights and furniture.
