The Steyr FP-1 may be one of the finest and most advanced firearms ever produced by Steyr. It also is one of the rarest, among guns in general, and those by Steyr, with only 1000 made and very few in the USA. Caliber is .22lr, single shot.


It reflects Wyatt Earp's dictum, "Fast is fine, but Accurate is FINAL". All 1000 of these guns were assembled by a single person, with Steyr staff still providing at least limited informational support for them when repair or adjustment are needed.


Introduced as a competitor to the Vostok MC-55, the FP-1 also uses an extremely low barrel position, but is ambidexterous as a gun, adds a muzzle brake, and tuning weight bar to cancel barrel and frame vibration. Also far more reliable than the MC-55 in use. Left handed grips are available.
