This 7x57 1885 Chilean Mauser has a blued tapered octagon 29-1/2” barrel that is mounted with an adjustable tangent rear sight and a blade front sight. The bore has good deep rifling with scattered light freckling throughout. The P grade Walnut full stock with hand guard is in good condition without cracks or chips with the exception of multiple handling dings. It is fitted to the blued bolt action that sports a highly polished bolt. The Chilean crest is stamped on the top of the action and the left side is the manufacture information that reads, Mauser Chileno Modelo 1885, Manufactura Loewe Berlin. The action locks up tight and functions as it should. Comes with the original steel cleaning rod, sling swivels and includes a bayonet lug. Please Note: Numbers match with the exception of the bolt. Length of pull is 13” – Overall length is 49-1/2” – Weight is 9.2lbs. Factory wood to metal fit– Made by Loewe – Berlin for Chili. Condition: Good.
