I am selling my Marlin 45-70 Guide Gun stainless steel. this is a JM stamped piece (no longer made). The estimated date of manufacture is 2002. It is outfitted with a lever leather piece from Dimond D Custom Leather in Alaska as well as a custom leather butt wrap with ammo pouches and a leather sling, also from Diamond D Leather in Alaska.

I have installed Alaska Skiner sight which greatly improve sighting and shooting from the original sights.

This is a serious piece which will serve as an outdoor companion or as a heirloom piece. It is incrediby well balanced and easy to carry around when hiking or bushwacking in grizzly country.

I kept it in very good condition. 

It shoots flawlessly. The action is smooth.I have kept it oiled and lubricated throughout these years.

This rifle will only appreciate in value no matter what you choose to do with it.
