The Aero precision Enhanced Upper Receiver makes it easy to build a complete AR-15 upper.

The barrel nut is machined and forged into the upper receiver itself, and it reduces the amount of steps to install your barrel and handguard.

The benefits of using an enhanced upper receiver is it takes a lot of guess work out of buliding a complete upper, it doesnt affect your point of impact when shooting because there is less torqueing down with the barrel nut and handguard, and theres less parts your fumbling around with.

The only down side is you have to use the Aero enhanced handguard with the enhanced upper. You cannot use whatever handguard you want with the enhanced upper receiver, But it makes for a great precision rifle.
