Receiver marked C No 4 Mk 1* LONG BRANCH 1950

Long Branch marked rifles were produced in Ontario Canada in numbers less than 1 million

They are coveted for their improved accuracy, and a number of them were converted to sniper rifles later

This model has an excellent looking bore and rifling

The bolt head is only a #1 and does not appear to stretch brass yet (Head spacing wear)

Metal finish has normal wear from use over many years, but no signs of corrosion

Original wood stock has many light marks, dents, and scratches from 75 years of handling

The only significant wood damage is near the front there are some significant dents and gouges that could be repaired, and there is a hairline crack 4 inches long on the receiver left side wood.

10 round removable magazine is in good condition

Sling swivels, spike bayonet, and bayonet cover are present and in good condition

Ejector screw is present and in good condition
