The Blue Force Gear Standard Issue Vickers Sling has become the standard in combat weapon slings. After extensive testing including combat evaluations, this sling is issued with the USMC M27 IAR as well as the M4 and M16 series of weapons. The Standard Issue Vickers Sling has a contrasting color pull tab on the proprietary quick adjuster that can quickly change the length of the sling to convert from carrying the weapon to a shooting position and back again. When tightened, the sling has no excess webbing tail, springs, or moving parts that could fail, get tangled, or caught up in the weapon system.

The Adjuster and Triglides are built with lightweight glass reinforced DuPont Zytel Nylon hardware. This design of the triglides allows the sling to lay flatter for comfort while carrying a firearm. Includes a Quick Release Buckle to quickly get out of the sling if needed. The Standard Issue Vickers Sling can be attached to any M4 or AR-15 with an M4/M16 style front sling attachment with triglides and loop lock hardware through swivels, sling loops or combined with sling hardware. For attachment to the M27 or other weapons with a railed fore end, use the Rail Mounted Fixed Loop (RMFL). Additional hardware can be purchased and added to the front and backend of the sling for more firearm attachment methods.
