Hard to find Portuguese model 1904 that should be in 6.5×58 mm Vergueiro. The rifle featured a new bolt system and was chambered for a 6.5 x 58 mm cartridge. Officially known as the Espingarda 6.5 mm m/1904, it was commonly called the Portuguese Mauser. During World War I, it was mainly used by Portuguese colonial troops in Angola, Mozambique, and Timor. Approximately only 100,000 of these rifles were manufactured by Deutsche Waffen und Munitionsfabriken (DWM) in Berlin. The Mauser-Vergueiro rifle was in service from 1904 until the beginning of World War II, seeing action in World War I and the Spanish Civil War. Overall the rifle is in good condition along with its bore, old collectable classic rifle that is around 120 years old.
