The Midwest Industries Combat HD Handguards have a new profile with increased side-wall thickness for maximum rigidity, and minimal point of impact shift for lasers and other accessories. A new, longer 4140 steel barrel nut helps provide stability of the handguard. Made of extremely durable 6061 aluminum and hard-coat anodized. The top Picatinny rail has T markings for accessory locations. The other seven sides have M-LOK accessory slots. Two steel anti-rotation QD sockets for maximum strength and placed to minimize gun roll. The Combat Rail HD has new, heavy-duty integrated anti-rotation tabs that interface with any Mil-Spec forged or Mil-Spec dimensioned Billet upper receiver (see note below about Billet receivers). Uses the Midwest Industries patented torque plate to provide no forward movement of the handguard. Includes one five-slot M-LOK rail section, installation hardware, and barrel nut wrench.
