We have for your pleasure a used SIG P6 which has been converted back into a SIG P225.  Made in W. Germay, these single-stack pistols were used by German police as a their official sidearm, until the mid-90s.  This particular one was made in October 1978 which was a very early example. Basically, these are single-stack 9mm versions of the SIG P220. Don't get this wrong, this is NOT one of the recently released P225-A1 which share little with the original, except for the overall size and single-stacked magazines.

This one comes as you see it, with a new aftermarket barrel, new SIG polymer grips, a new SIG firing pin and a Black Ice teflon coating put on by Roberts Trading Post.  I have already changed out the heavy DA hammer spring and the ring hammer, making it more into the P225. This also comes with one original "zipper back" magazine.  I just couldn't bring myself to get one of the ProMag reproductions because of how they stick out of the bottom of the magazine.

This example has been gone over by our SIG armorer and test fired to make sure everything works as it should.

Currently on Gunbroker, you can find these priced all the way up to $1500 with Buy-It-Now pricing and Armslist around $600-700, so we're well within the current market value for these collectors pieces.  Hurry and get this piece of Cold War history before it's gone!

We can ship to your FFL for an additional $50 to cover shipping.
