Remington model 870 Sportsman 12 12ga pump shotgun, handles 2 ¾ and magnums 3 inch shells, 30 inch vent rib FULL choke. Pretty nice shotgun, overall the bluing is great and the wood nice, keep in mind it is used so there is normal wear and tear that includes marks, dings, dents, finish loss, of normal use over the years. Someone must have taken care of this shotgun, its too old for this nice of condition if it was abused every season. Great gun for trap shooting or upland game.

This is a rather rare, two year production shotgun made around 1984 until 1986. Remington was looking for a entry level shotgun that could keep cost down and a good price point. So, this is what they came up with. It didn't have the fancy high gloss checkered stocks, like the Wingmaster did and nether the price. However, what it did have was the awesome deep old school bluing, chrome bolt, magnum 3 inch shell capability, vent rib and the sign of ultimate quality in my opinion the metal trigger guard assembly. It more or less is a two year production Wingmaster without nice stocks. As time would go on, Remington would later make the Express model line, that took it to extreme entry level with plastic trigger guard, spray on paint like coating finish instead of bluing and even the bolt with plastic stocks.
