This firearm is a Springfield Armory model 1873 trapdoor rifle chambered in 45-70 Govt. The rifle features a 32 5/8" barrel and original sights on the rifle. The wood is in overall good condition, with minor bumps/scuffs as expected of a rifle this age. The metal is solid overall, with freckling throughout and general wear of a rifle this age. The bore is in excellent condition with no visible damage to the rifling or erosion to the muzzle area. The ramrod is missing from this firearm. This is a piece of american history that is ready for action, get yours today!
